Lukasz Pruchnik Director of Photography NYC Based


Lukasz Pruchnik (b. 1983) is a director of photography who lives and works in New York City.

Pruchnik was born in Rzeszów, Poland and moved to Brooklyn in 2000. He has shot seven feature films including Go Goa Gone (India, 2013), Código Paz (Dominican Republic, 2014), and Monsoon Mangos (US / India, 2015). Pruchnik has shot in locations including Algeria, Brazil, Cuba, France, Japan, Mauritius, and The United Kingdom.

He’s trained in shooting film but he fully embraced the digital medium. His favorite cameras to use are Red Dragon and Arri Alexa, but he won’t shy away from what Sony, Canon, Panasonic and BM have to offer.
